Red Diamond Guava Seedless Plant

The Red Diamond Guava plant is special because it bears a new kind of guava fruit that is almost seedless. Each fruit weighs between 400 and 1000 grams. It’s nearly seedless, with just 5-10 seeds per fruit, and delightfully sweet.

The inside of the fruit is a lovely pink color. You can expect it to bear fruit 2-3 times a year. Caring for this plant is easy and similar to caring for other guava plants.

Tips To Grow Red Diamond Guava

• The plant needs lots of sun.
• You can plant it in a big pot or in the ground.
• Add compost every three months.
• Put mulch around the bottom of the plant.
• Don’t let the plant flower for the first two years, this makes the plant stronger.
• Help the plant stand up to protect it from wind and other things that could hurt it.

Taking Care of Your Plant:

• Make sure your plant gets plenty of sunlight, ideally 2-3 hours of direct morning light every day.
• Keep the soil moist but be careful not to over-water. The soil should be allowed to dry out between watering sessions.
• Use a good quality garden mix soil. Press the soil in the pot and add more if necessary.
• Wait at least a month before transplanting the plant into a bigger pot or directly into the ground.
• If any branches get damaged, prune them. New leaves will grow back.
• Add organic or homemade compost to the soil every three months.

• For the first 10-15 days, make sure your plant gets a lot of bright light in the morning (2-3 hours).
• Don’t move the plant to a new pot or to the ground right away (wait at least 1 month).
• After 1 month, you can move the plant to a pot that’s a little bigger than the current pot, or you can plant it in the ground.
• If any branch of the plant got hurt during shipping, just cut it off. New leaves will grow.
